anyway, I assume "Edit" got relegated to the "3 dots" menu in this version of the forum software because it shouldn't be used as often as quote and multi-quote.

ahh okay, why such a low speed of 2666Mhz?

Cheap - have got 3600 in my current setup with a waterblock on them - will be swapping them in when I get the kit for the new CPU/MB

Thanks for doing the leg work for me, that is why I went with 3600 CL16 memory and specifically why opted for filling all banks with 4 sticks.

I know they recommended 2 sticks of 16gb, but I could not get my hands on any of that. I waited for almost 2 months to get this memory.

Also I wanted RGB memory and there was no ETA for it either. So yeah if anyone wants a set of memory sticks like the one I have.

I know a place that has a set in Perth. it is at a wholesale place.

I had 2 8Gb sticks

got another 2 to fill the vacant slots with RGB, cos need more RGB :asciidity:

didn't notice any discernable difference with 4 sticks vs 2 sticks or even 16Gb vs 32Gb

my RAM is G.Skill TridentZ neo.  4 x 8Gb DDR4-3200 CL16 which was recommended as the sweet spot and bang for buck for the AM4 Ryzen 3000 series way back when

you are very welcome :beerchug:

I have also download AMD Ryzen Master Utility and adjusted the fabric clock and the memory clock to the same values

you can download it HERE

in my case it is 1600 on both (adding together to make 3200 as per my RAM speed)

also have the Ryzen power plan for windoze

all info HERE

I have been running this software for over 12 months without any hiccups

My CPU is set to run on max boost clock all the time

and does so without any dramas (cos on water)

I hope to see some pictures from both you and @Rab of your builds

a time lapse video would be great

I am not so sure of a time laps. I am ugly and would crack the screen. I will most probably provide the final product.

That will only happen in say 2-3 weeks time. I am onsite at the moment. get back home on Wednesday.

Home for 6 days and then fly out again. The order on EKWB hasn't even finished being processed.
