Nice work. Just out of curiosity, what memory sticks did you get? Speed, CAS latency and RAM Size per stick?

HX426C16FB4K2/32 32GB (16GB 2G x 64-Bit x 2 pcs.) DDR4-2666 CL16 288-Pin DIMM Kit

Was just after something cheap quickly to get me in and out of the store :)

ahh okay, why such a low speed of 2666Mhz? I been told that anything above 3600Mhz is pointless with the Gen 3 Ryzens.

Well I been struggling to find anything out there really. I finally managed to get this kit "Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz C16"

I actually got the same NVME drive as you, The Samsung 980 pro.

I do not have an air cooler as the CPU is not supplied with one. Which one you going with?

I went with the Master MB, cause of the 3 NVME slots.

did a lot of research before I built my Ryzen system 15 months ago

3200Mhz was considered the "sweet spot"

and if you look at recommendations from AMD, 3200Mhz is the number they use

@Rab has a gen 4 Ryzen  :aaggl:

gen 5 by numbering

4 must have been an unlucky number for them or something

well, I'm glad you found it... now use it every time nobody has yet posted after you in a thread and it's within the 10min allowance you get to edit a post you've made :)  that'll save you getting upset that a merge script happens automatically :P
