Mate, since you running nvidia gear that should be green and not RED.

That carpet layer of dirt was not doing the cpu any justice.

No one has been talking about the RED court? No one getting the new 5000 series AMD?

I am jumping ship from intel to AMD very soon. I have gone full retard.

Ordered 3 x ryzen 5900 CPU. Got one from the wholesale place which I allowed my brother to have.

Waiting on the other 2 to come in, as well as the new x570 motherboard, DDR4 ram and new nvme.

I also ordered 2 x 6800XT and 1 x6900XT.

Now it is all a waiting game.

I'm chucking a giant turbo on my car then I'll start looking at computer upgrades. I think I might have to buy a motorbike before computer stuff though

I may have been using Nvidia for over 8 years now, but I am waiting for the dust to settle and see which card/brand will be good for me

but to be perfectly honest, gaming at 2560 x 1440 @ 144Hz and matching my framerate to 144 fps, my GTX 1080 is perfectly capable with the majority of games I play

probably because I'm running water cooling and the card is overclocking beautifully

I perceive that in the near future I will probably need to upgrade with games the likes of Cyberpunk becoming the norm

I have now been rocking a Ryzen 3600 X for just over 12 months and it has absolutely never let me down

no bottlenecking or failure of any kind

it is also overclocked but only to it's max boost clock, it sits at 4.3 GHz all day every day

I was looking at the 5900 X as an upgrade, but $860 is a lot of money for bragging rights

but it would pair very nicely with my 32 GB of ram, and would slot straight into my X570 mobo

Ryzen and the X570 platform is one decision I will not regret making :buttrock:

I am glad to hear that I am making the right decision to move to AMD.

My system has been struggling when playing GTA 5 and Frames are only at 60fps, while I have a 120hz screen.

I really don't know why I haven't thought about over clocking the EVGA 1080Ti that I have.

Where are you getting it at that price? That is wholesale price right?

My I5 4760k was a bottle neck up until March, then I managed to score a I7 4770, which helped a bit.

Haven't had any significant upgrades to my system for a while. now is the time for me hey.

Hope you like the Green Machine..... soon to become the RED Machine.

Everyone says the same thing, but I CBF. Too much effort for hard tubing. No one gets to see the beast that often so MEH.

Also the fitting I have are not for hard tubing.  The other thing that comes to mind is that each time you change your motherboard, then the CPU and GPU locations may change.

This means you got to redo the hard tubing. Screw that hey.

Well those prices from PLE are pretty much wholesale price. I have NFI how PLE do it.

At least I know that through the wholesale, I have a better change of getting parts and don't have to join the long queue to wait for items to come in.

I already had ordered 3 5900X and received 1 of them. I allowed my brother to have it as he already is using an AMD mother board.

I am waiting for all of the items to arrive before I put my system together.
