Yeah my ram will work. I have a 16GB set that I'm not using.

Realistically you will have minimal gainz in gaming, as 8GB does the trick for the most part. In saying that, I mostly see more than 8GB usage when gaming at 1440p. THe ram I have can run at 2133MHz and was some of the better stuff on the market a few years ago.

If you're going to upgrade your gpu then get a gtx1080 or better as your system will support that level (or better) of gpu before bottlenecking the cpu. If you're running 1080p then a lesser gpu will suffice.

If you want it, we can sort it out via pm.

haha we got the same chip, still goes hard. overclocked to 4.4 currently cause while it was prime95 stable at higher speed it wasn't stable in battlefield.

ive got that chip with the 2080 and 16gb ram. it's definitely a bottleneck but my point is with the new GPU I'm happy to run this until something better than the 9900K comes out.

well im only casually playing bf1 anyways, just on weekends, just its all low detail so I can get at least 60fps.

wasnt planing on spending money on it really. haha. but a few hundred on a better gpu and some ram might buy me another year or so.

go decent gpu and 1440p @ ultra and you will start playing it much more. cpu will hold up fine and it has a little room if you wanted to get a few more Mhz out of it

Freaky a second hand 1080 will only be a few hundred bucks, up to 500. I've seen 1080ti's for 700+.
