Next year both our cars will be on E85. Todd  will be banging about 500 and me 450. Hopefully can get more than 250 in 1000m

Dashcam footage of my final and best 1000m run.  I'd gone 237km/h and 239km/h prior.  You can just make out the commentators mentioning the high kms on my car near the end of the airstrip drive.  I'm proud of the old girl!  I didn't hear them mention the speed clearly so you see me check the result on my phone (they are sent live via SMS) and double check it before celebrating a bit for cracking the 240 barrier.  Very stoked.

Also thanks to the crowd members that gave us drivers a thumbs up and a cheer as we drove by, I know I got a kick out of it!

Was good to meet all you's blokes. Disappointing so many of us 4l powered guys had issues was some strong contenders if everything went to plan.

My weekend ended early after my flywheel came loose Sunday morning. Rather sh*t as it had only been in there for 3days but these are the problems that come with a 500kw manual car. Didn't even get to do a run on full boost either before it came loose. Hopefully come back next years with a half built motor dowel the crank this time and actually get a full pass on full boost without having to worry about throwing engine components on the runway...
