Assetto Corsa looks like a trick game as well. I have heard about oculus rift but I thought the idea got shelved great to see it reach it's full potential. I've got the developer kit of the Rift - and it's friggin awesome for racing with. Only thing that takes you out of the immersion is the disconnect of having no actual hands/body etc when wearing the goggles. The HTC Vive is meant to fix a lot of that with the controllers that come with the system - Rift ones are meant to be "coming soon" Have done many laps in Assetto Corsa, iRacing and Project Cars. Bathurst and Phillip Island in VR is a totally "real" experience compared to even the best sim setup The way he's green screened it so it shows his hands in real space is definitely the way it needs to go to take it to the next level.
