Yeah I ran it back in January but it was a hot day, think it was about 32 or 33 degrees and we were watching the rain go around us so it wasn't the best conditions. Car went 11.0 but The previous owner went 10.7 last year in winter.

lol its to close to call even by times rednose, ppl have done a high 10 with high 390's I belive but honestly...I know they say you will feel 10rwkw difference, but between 395 405? I dunno. 400's on 98 with the 3582 probably is an exaggeration, it would be fair to say it maxes out at around 400 on 98..

I would agree that it will max out at around 400kw on 98.

I think it starts to run out of puff a little at the top end and the fact that the turbo was replaced the week before I got the car suggest it wasn't liking that before too much. There was a little bit of shaft play in it and the oil feed line had been replaced with a in line filter one a while before that. Car only had 60k on the clock and the mechanic just put it down to the fact it was running fairly close to its limit.

I might add also that my 11.0 and previous owners 10.7 second runs were on e85 and not 98.

My pte6235 went 450rwkw on 98. Was not maxed out either. Great thing is it also spools quicker than a 3582. Bad thing is it costs $2800 these days!

I haven't ever seen a regular F6 style turbo go 400 or ( 130mph ) on 98 ever

I also don't feel once when tuning one was capable of it either

I feel the stock F6 turbo is at it's last happy place around 18 psi on 98 which in turn looks around 380rwkw max

on E85 I feel 20psi is it and that's about 420rwkw max

over running a turbo will always lead to premature failure and not much to be gained other than hot air

PTE 6235 does it easy

It all depends on supporting mods. 400 is probably getting close to the limit but there are tricks to getting more.  And on E85 high 400s is possible

Yep totally agree.

My car with the gtx3582r on bp98 has made 407 rwkw and 399 rwkw on two seperate dynos with nothing really left in it.

So basically most people agree, 400 on 98 is a stretch.

I had all supporting mods and mine only made 370ish on 98.

It trapped 126-127MPH.

On eflex it made 405 and on United E85 it made 422.

This is plenty of power on the street.

But to answer the OP's question, the only 2 turbos I know that will suit what you want are the PTE6235 and the BW EFR 8374.

You'll be happy with both of those turbos.
