I'd only bother going further than that to remove any sharp edges, personally... cover them with rubber weathershielding or something.

Thoughts

Make it out of aluminium sheet and get it welded. Then paint it the same colour as the undercarriage.

There's my 2 thoughts :launch:

Finally got the Dynamic D wheels for the front, looks pretty good now.

Pulled all the exhaust manifold off and the old turbo. Time to put the bigger one on. I've got the turbo manifold getting ceramic coated and once it comes back I'll fit the new turbo and make a few adjustments to the piping. Then off to get a dyno tune again.280074f2b14575376b65f601376110e0.jpg5fe6f1a322f8b71820919f9ebeaa97e3.jpg

Hang on, are you going from the garrett to the aeroflow or vise versa???
I've been looking into these aeroflow turbskies for ages now, really interested hearing about peoples real-world experience with them :)

Sounds an awful lot like marketing wank, but still can't deny the price for sure!

I've been tossing up between the pulsar's for the same reason too. But for that little bit extra you can get an aeroflow turbo - whether the extra cost is worth it sounds like a good debate. I imagine the higher cost would mean better QA on the turbos, so better product overall, but "better" is definitely a subjective thing

Yeah sounds like marketing but will find out soon. Just getting a 98 tune for now as we don't have access to E85 up here, so I won't get huge numbers.

Quality looks pretty good really, I'll post some photos after work.
