Yep can't wait John, got the transmission home last night. Got the engine ready to go just waiting for the converter to get here. Painted the rocker cover wrinkle red, turned out pretty good I think.df78a436ebedd132bb724fe3b2430cc8.jpg30db1d1710b87ae0f370c4614be53735.jpg

New diff gears showed up Friday, just need someone to fit them. Might have to pull the diff out and send it away, not real confident on building a diff myself. Don't need the 2nd hand diff I brought 4 months ago hahacaea7cbaa75321d56239249586408734.jpg3419fea92502d314e36f0946cc762902.jpg

Engine and box are in, bolted up. Waiting for tailshaft to be done and just need to put intake manifold and wiring harness back on and it should be right.

So maybe another month haha7b34138f4687c237b4fdac1647421d23.jpgb52c9334031fae3b0538eb995c071107.jpg

Getting there slowly, fuel lines done, manifold on and wiring done. Tried to get it to turn over but it doesn't want to know about it. Thought it might be a software issue but starting to think the battery is nearly flat too, which probably doesn't help.a829763d8f2b84e2fab74def2af5e8b2.jpg0835bb96d8c18ab460d10270a00eafeb.jpg

Havent really done much lately, been busy with work. Decided to buy the Haltech ECU

Will try and start her up this week but will be another 3 or 4 weeks before she sees the hub dyno at Corsa bdaa6f231fc8b47cc9d5def001b604cb.jpgb0d2aebf9b92cc15b149abb59ed36671.jpg

It's alive!

Reversed her out of the shed, powerglide works. Just need to finish putting a few things back together and it'll be ready for a test drive.

Haltech ECU is amazing, so many options and easy to use. a451df5cc6e825ee6d263212df56481f.jpgf23cb6eb9d222c9f3f40f757e9619a0e.jpg

Haven't had much time to work on the old girl, been away for a few weeks.

Took her for a test drive, got up the main road and thought it was revving a bit hard to get going but still went pretty good. Got home and realised the shifter wasn't engaging 1st so was driving in 2nd haha. Got a new shifter hooked up today and tested it with the car on stands and all good.

Also got the new Haltech ic7 dashb3fa29e4c0e15f334f66759de5760baa.jpg952dfe251d580fbab6887baa7615401c.jpgeaec1495824f97d6b715575b76e599e0.jpg
