another thought:

we did have a couple of problems with some sensors getting wet on our first dishdrawer

turned out that we were over stacking and the lid/cover was not shutting properly and water was leaking out

on a positive, the repair guy said that he loved the dishdrawer because it has been designed to be fixed easily

More retail therapy today...

Found a dining table...

And chairs... they’re very comfortable...

Also ordered our couch from a “customise it yourself” kinds range... went for this 4 seater but with black legs... and the chaise all in matching fabric... we tossed up the leather but it just wasn’t as comfy!

Do you have a fireplace. Nothing better than sitting naked in front if a fireplace roasting your nuts

And I’m about to pull the trigger on our dishwasher... I’m thinking about going drawers, given my back is one of the biggest issues, bending up and down again at the waist repetitively is very difficult for me, so dish-drawer will solve this issue...

I had one of these previously in my house and it died. I ended up replacing it with a Miele fully integrated dishwasher...one of these:

On the auto setting it uses bugger all water at half load and cleans better if I don't wipe off dirt first. Also, the door pops itself open after running so I can run it whenever and it never gets mouldy smelling.

On the progress front ... things have been pretty well.

Cornice is on and flushing almost done.
Kitchen is being installed in house 2.

There have been some hurdles to jump but things are still going pretty well :)
