Was driving my 2011 G6ET with trailer out of town couple of days ago and then randomly after 2+ hours driving (at night) the tail lights went out so pulled over turned it off and found the blown fuse and replaced to found the lights where back on so all seems fine so I went to start the car again to find the it wont turn over at all then faults had started coming up as - comms fault/airbag/seat belt and or pre tensioner faults.

Anyone had this happen or know of something similar if so what was the cause/solution.

Cheers

Check what is draining the battery. Could be short in the trailer wiring.

How old is the battery?

The last issue you had with the warnings and errors is probably due to the battery being flat.

Ive only had the car for about 4 months so I would have to assume the battery is as at least a couple of years old.

Th car is at the ford dealership now so hopefully they can sort it out without to many dramas.

Well there is your first mistake.. Never go to a fraud dealership for fault fixing unless you wanna spend the big bucks

Deano was last online on the 29th of September. I reckon he got charged heaps by Fraud to say that the battery is flat. ;)

Hope this was not the case. Any possibility of getting an update please Deano
