Not that I'm aware of, 2 main issues I can see, intercooling will be a pita, water to air might work or better still methanol. The other is turbos in boats in general(with exception to Diesel's). Your going to be holding the thing at high rpm for long periods of time relative to a car, which means dealing with a white hot exhaust manifold and turbine. These problems can obviously be overcome

Also using the factory pcm will be a pain.

This would be awesome!

Cooling would be easy as you have endless supply of cold water flowing underneath, just run it through a heat exchanger

E85 or methanol would be the best fuel choice

But I would think once you do that your going to be in the Open class and against some big ass blown v8 boats

I've been chatting OP on the HPT forum. I'm hoping to be able to help him out. Engine is already installed and running in the boat.

Have done turbo jet boats with aftermarket ecus with no problems.

Just the factory ecu is proving a challenge at this point.

Yes intercooling is the easy part for sure.

Will be run on E10, not a race boat.
