hi all

just got my car and have issues with the blue tooth , had no issues in my old mk1 fg

when you first attach the phone it is fine , but after the ingition is turned off and back on it connects for a second and then disconnects

you either have to turn bluetooth off and back on and select reconnect in the icc or sometimes delete the phone and re pair it again for it to work

then it works perfectly again until you turn the car off

how much for a flash/update from ford and is it likely to help or is there anything I can do ?

thanks heaps!

Is the car still under warranty?

I took mine back to Ford with similar issues and Sat Nav not working properly. They did some software updates and all is good done under warranty.

It might just need an update mate simple fix but how much no idea Ask local ford dealer for a price.

Also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes might reset. Worth giving that a good first.

Go to your local ford dealership/mechanic and they can sort diagnose the issue and likely fix it. Issues like these are very hard to diagnose via forums and often easier to just go get it sorted by Ford.

Still possible to get done there without warranty, just won't be free lol
