Is anyone using a Walbro 460lph E85 compatible fuel pump in the standard sender unit and if so was there any drama with higher fuel pressure / richer mixture associated with the swap? Cheers!

Iv got that pump in the stock sender in my ute. Running standard lines and reg. The reg and return lines are just up to the job but they recommend a new reg and return lines to avoid high fuel pressure at idle.

Your most likely running above 4 bar delta now more in the vicinity of 70psi plus.

There are ways to mod the cradle to allow better return flow.

Oh dear! I can see an aftermarket regulator in sight.

I might put a gauge on it and see exactly what the pressure difference is.

Are you guys using the standard wiring configuration or have run a new power supply to the sender?

Needed new relay as well as reg, relay was approx $120 from KPM from memory

Geez that's up there. Is there anything special about the relay? I was going to run a fused feed from the battery and switch a relay via the original pump power feed.

You're right it's pricey

Bought it because I didn't know any better

Nothing special, pic of it in the following link:
