The dude was a chef and top chess player, apparently he used to go to expensive restaurants eat their food then say he cant pay the for it due to poverty or claim to become ill and call for an ambo which allowed him to leave without paying. He became known in the media as the restaurant runner because he had over 50 arrests for it lol. He did this for a bit of comedic value, I read also that in a big chess comp he lost to a younger woman then protested that win saying her cleavage was a tool of distraction.
