It's been rebuilt once as I think it was worn out. Ceramic plates are not daily friendly.

Is really grippy to start with but after some abuse the bite fades a little.

I've never driven with a high end clutch so can't comment too much.
Bang for buck it can handle the abuse I throw at it. But another 100kw and I think I'd smoke it pretty quick.

What the running cost for vavle springs supplied and fitted ??

It'll be your springs then as the only other thing that would be similar is Overboost but that doesn't recover until an engine shut down and restart.
You haven't fitted a shift light at all either?

So it's not $1k anymore for springs fitted!
I bought the Crow springs off ebay so they'll go on the pile heap of other bits I've got waiting for the Terry.....

I thought the car already had springs done for some reason.

Pumped up lifters will do that too which is why I mentioned it before. Anti pump up lifters will help with soft springs, with regard to rpm.

Overboost cutout will recover straight away.

How often does that happen though apart from when fitting new springs?
Overboost on my xr6t used to require a restart before the throttle worked again (like a dead TPS otherwise). That was with a piggyback ecu though.

if I keep it on boost for any period of time it breaks down, then when I return to idle it runs like sh*t. Clears up after a few seconds

This is classic pumped up lifter symptoms.

Soft aka stock springs will do that.

If you have already replaced the springs and it's still doing it, the lifters are the next thing that will prevent the valves from closing.

That aside, maybe the mixture is too rich, maybe the plugs aren't playing ball, maybe the coils suck, maybe something else is happening.

Also you can pull the springs out and test them to confirm if they are still good.

Titanium retainers should be on the list if they aren't already installed.
