Bonnet cable, yes! Thanks for reminding me. Also diff oil and power steering fluid.

I do have a set of engine mounts to go in still as well but that might be too major?

How often should diff oil be done? Every 20,000kms?

As I am mechanically inept, I can't really do anything....so if someone wants to put a boost gauge in for me that would be sweet :) hahaha

Otherwise I'll still probably come, just for the LOLS

The point of the Day is tackle jobs that you wouldn't ordinarily due to lack of skills/tools/confidence. Not stands around while somebody else does the work for you.

Turn up with the intention to install the gauge and the more experienced members will assist/guide you. You'll probably leave the day a little less mechanically inept.

If you get yourself in a real pickle they will also do their best to get you back on the road. For example, if you stupidly over torque a brake bolt and it snaps clean off you can get a lift to repco and buy the last pack of 4 bolts in stock.

Failing that they will try to convince you to borrow a Late model camira so they can take pictures of you and shame you with them later.

So I've heard anyway.

Oh I see ... as long as the second part happens then I guess it will be safe for me to attempt it lol

Last thing I want is to give it a go....then have no one to help me and have a stuffed up A pillar. Although I'm sure not much damage can be done with a boost gauge install?

Sounds good :)

Cheers!

Rapid, it's probably going to be at my place and I've got pretty much all the hammers you'll need. Also, Arron will probably bring any specialised hammers he thinks might be necessary.

Kyle, do you still want to do your turbo oil line?

hahaha, I think Ralph should be volunteer his hoist for Steve to get those engine mounts put in.

Or should I say, maint day at Ralph's.

:P

I have rotors to go in. I have coolant flush required. Need to find an easy way to do this without a hoist.

I also got the shift lights ready to go in.

Aaron, where is that fender rolling tool on sale at?

Arron, don't have the tube socket needed for the engine end can you bring it?

Can you bring your has torch again for annealing washers ?

Looks like there's a decent list of things to do. I'm past due for my 5k oil change so might as well knock that over too.
