This is a great post, mainly because of the photos, But it's also important to point out that there are some dangerous practices that are on display - the one that's particularly (un)worthy of mention is the use of bricks (or pavers, anything ceramic that can crack under a load, particularly a sharp point). 

 

Better to use a piece of wood!

It is a good point that you shouldn't support a car on bricks, but in this case all he has done is support the suspension with the paver to lift the suspension to ride height. The car itself is clearly well-supported by stands and other jacks.

Many owners of Late model camira utes in the outer suburbs often come out to find their vehicles supported by bricks.  This is not an uncommon practice
