turbotrana Member 2,586 Member For: 21y 20d Gender: Male Posted 14/07/14 01:50 PM Share Posted 14/07/14 01:50 PM (edited) I find gaskets cause issues, especially with them compressing on the corners and warping stuff and blowing out the gasket where it is not compressed.Best thing is to have a good machinist machine the turbine housing and the manifold baby bottom smooth if the surfaces have degraded and not true.I have added hi temp silicone between the surfaces and it does not really do much, but I have heard there is a product/sealant you can use that does not burn off between the matting surfaces but don't know what it is called.
