Not backing the dealer but if you got away with it even half the time there'd be some money saved there.. I can't imagine the genuine sticker kits are cheap..

It's not the first time a dealer has put ebay stickers on.

I read the same thing on AFF recently.

I have a thread over on AFF about it too haha, might be the one you're thinking of.

No stripes, dark tints and tune...............fark warranty

not worth a piece of nanny goat sh*t

+1 for tint and tune. However as wanky as they may seem, I like stripes on the GTs as it sets them apart from the rest of the FGs.

For me it would be: white + stripes + RSpec rears + lowered + 20% tint + rear muffler delete + tune = ultimate Grand Tourer

I actually have tint on the car already, I had the dealer throw it in for free. Has octane from tint-a-car. I agree with the stripes, I've spent this much money on a GT so I like that the stripes make it stand out on the road and makes it easily recognisable for what it is. I actually saw a white GT drive past me yesterday that didn't have the stripes and it looked good...but I reckon there's more presence with the stripes :) tune will come, just not yet.

In terms of lowering, I've got the Teins from my turbo I could put into it...but I think I'll hold off for a little bit, just wanna enjoy it it as it is for now.

Fark Dan, you have had your fair share of drammas with the XR6T and now you got to put up with this sh*t from the dealer..... They should be putting the brembo kit to compensate......... :P

Yep gotta have the hockey stripes!

Otherwise you may as well debadge and de wing the car...that would be sad.

A GT should stamp its presence over the surrounding traffic. Especially a supercharged one.

I agree. Fark the warranty. I did anyway..

+1 for stripes thou. They look like any ol falcon without them..

I dont agree with the warranty bit. Let her be driven for at least a year or so and let things settle down and see if there are any issues. Then forget the warranty. If something is due to break it should break within that first year.

Keep the stripes on. I saw a GT-P yesterday without stripes and I thought it looked crap.
