Hi,

Just a question to all those who have replaced their 8" subs on their premium sound. Did you continue to reverse the polarity on the replacement?

Thanks

Ant

To be honest I never even really look when they're going in the parcel shelf. I've replaced mine with a polk and put a bigger amp in. Just put on a dynamic song and jump in the driver's seat and listen, then change it the other way and do the same. One will sound punchy and the other won't.

Yes. Reverse it.

Thought my replacement 8" soundstream sub was pretty good.

Reversed the polarity about 8 months later, just to see how it sounded..... Haven't looked back.

Seems to hit the lower notes harder and play the lower bass notes 100% better.
