You'd have to change them if you don't want it to be a slug down low... 2.73 is standard on autos isn't  it? Manuals are 3.73

Time to get rid of that single spinner mate :)

cant see the latest reply but whatever keify is sayin bout the auto diff gears, spot on. Looking a full rebuild matty

may aswell do twin bush hat and axles...

The ZF has 2.73 gears, it won't be tall enough for a manual as the manual has a 3.73. The manual would be a slug off the line but would have tremendous top speed (give you would have the power to overcome friction to the road and air resistance) :) . Probably best to source a manual diff eventually, but is not 100% necessary.

Works now.

Also there was a guy on AFF that did a complete turbo and manual conversion with his G6E and used Ford to reflash the ECU. Can't see any issues just swapping the box over.

Yep, this thread never updates for me either. I can see in the "what's new" preview that there's new posts, but the post that comes up when I open the thread is from 10th Feb...

And of course, after I hit post they all appear.
