Fg Xr6T Custom Exhaust

Im getting a custom exhaust done for my sedan FG xr6t.

getting a 4" dump into 3.5" man bent exhaust into twin 3" tips.

Just curious to know would I be able to get away with not tuning my car to the new exhaust until I get a few other minor upgrades done?(dont know a hell of alot about tuning and that)

or would I need to get it tuned fairly quickly?

any does anyone know somewhere in brisbane/redland shire area I could get tuned?

With the dump, especially, youd need a tune pretty much straight away..

Youd be limited to just idling around .. itll boost spike

Probably look at doing a port and flapper mod on your turbo.

I went full custom 4'inch dump,3.5 system and twin 3 inch tips.

Its was loud..sounded tough but loud.

Hi-tec mufflers to be exact. We mucked around with baffles which mellowed it just right

Sound better than any X-Force that's for sure

It's not a major thing, I've had my new exhaust on for a couple of weeks now and only getting it tuned tomorrow. Yes it'll go over your stock boost pressure and put you into limp mode but just don't go full boost and you'll be right.
