My throttle body rubber joiner has turned to sh*t and has a fine split through it. Tried some 3" silicon hose I had for an intake. Did not fit at all after trying to get it to go on for ages. Where can I find the 3" stretchy rubber hose that is used on it from factory? I have a feeling 3.5" silcion hose will be oversized, need to stick with the standard rubber joiner.

The 3" silicon one I tried today is probably the same. is it just a 3" to 3" silicone hose? I couldn't get it to go on if my life depeded on it haha

Will the 3" silicon joiners replace all the factory ones, ie the air box to cross over and cross over pipe to turbo etc?

wow got it on but smashed heaps of silicon spray over it to lube the f*ker up. Worked a charm and the car runs A LOT better now. Such a small part but made a massive difference if the old one was falling to sh*t. and Kylec u will have to check I think the airbox to crossover is 3.5". Not 100% sure though.

lubricating it may not have been the best idea.....

Next time use some hairspray. Spray both surfaces and slip the pipe on. The hair spray will got tacky once it dry. The silicone spray will probably stay silicony.
