My ba xr6t sean used to be a ex cop car in NSW so the drivers seat is worn (the foam)

its the back of it not the part where you sit haha so if you lean teh wrong was you can feel the metal frame which does hurt at times.

im aware you can get replacement backings from ford for about 2-350 bucks but is there any other alteratives? how much would a upolser charge for a quick fix?

also how do you remove the fabric? it does have side air bags too

I was thinking of stuffing some foam in there haha as rest or seat is perfect

My old mans territory had the leather peeling away on the side bolster from people getting in and out. He got a local upholsterer to fix it and it looks like factory. He replaced the whole leather piece (it's actually not leather to begin with) with better material and it only cost him $100. Dad couldn't have been happier with the result

I just had the drivers seat in my Typhoon renewed. Base Springs repaired and new foam added, both back and side bolsters replaced and reshaped out of stiffer foam, two cracks in the frame welded up and pilling removed fron the suede. All fir the princely sum of $130.

I've hear a crack sound sometimes as I get in to mine now. Thought it would be plastic broken but if Ralph had a couple spots that needed welding, maybe I should get mine looked at by the same bloke.
