There's a difference between not driving at all and driving but not driving hard to work the brakes hard. :P black vs dark grey, perhaps?

Thinking of changing over the rotors and pads on the FPV FG F6.  They squeal like anything at the moment and I think it was Mick at PitLane who pointed out that the front rotors have a bit of a lip on them - so suspect the previous owner has not changed his rotors since he bought the car brand new.  The opinion at PitLane was that machining them prolly would not help.  So am looking at getting the dba 4000 slotted T3s again like in my BA.  Gotta farrkn research the sizes all over again for front and rear rotors now.  I'm hopin I can use Akebono pads with the Brembos as well.  They were good on the BA with dba 4000 slotted T3s.

Just call Matt at race brakes Sydney. I believe he's doing a forum discount on t3 rotors and would probably do a decent deal if your after pads and fluid as well.

Note that there is a left and right rotor for the rear brakes and they're slighly larger diameter than I first thought - 330mm instead of 328mm.

Just waiting on Race Brakes in Yarraville to get back to me on whether they have Akebono pads that suit Brembos.

Hey Guys - I got a call from Race Brakes Yarraville saying the following is what I should be using on my rears (which is what I intially posted up)

REAR ROTORS

DBA T3 DBA 42108S
DBA's most advanced brake rotor on the market. Designed for extreme road and track applications.

This prouct is suitable for FORD REAR DISC BF, XR6T, XR8 Series1 also BF, FG, FPV, F6, ETC PBR REAR CALIPER and suits brake pad DB1675.

328mm x 26mm vented.

And not the followng that was proposed by dba themselves:

Just wondering if anyone who has actaully done the dba 4000 slotted T3s on their front and in particular rears can comment for FPV FG F6?
