That guy was me and I ended up buying from a bloke in NSW.

CAPA cooler is great if your wanting to keep std piping and chasing 300rwkw.

I did a cooler swap from F6 to a CAPA unit and posted it and dyno graph today. Have a read for the results gained over the F6.

What ppl forget is that some individuals prefer to spend money on other things than just their car. Can't label someone as tight for doing that. Different ppl have dirrerent priorities in life.

You're right, most of us have other hobbies, house loans, bills and other commitments. What's trying to be said is that if you're unable to buy well known quality proven modifications due to 'other priorities' maybe you should just worry abouth those and not half ass the car.

Do it right or don't bother

Edit - not directed at CAPA bloke above. (In regards to OP/ebay coolers)

Ebay cooler (or any other cooler for that matter) is not going to help at all until the rest of the mods need it.

Intercooler is only a "support" part of the package - it will give you nothing - all it will do is allow the rest of your stuff to work at the best of their ability.

Get a tune, or work out a budget and work out the best bang for dollar for that budget.

Hi was wandering if there is any gain/worth the time and money to use a factory fg xr6 turbo intercooler and piping over the ebay "monza" intercooler. Its on my Bf mk2.. also should start will the fg cooler fit the bf? I understand that there might be some modification needed.

Thanks
