Constant Diff Bolt Breakage

The caterpillar (westrac) bolt and a grade 12.9 have the SAME tensile strength (1200MPa) SO.....

If the bolt is breaking at na level power then the issue lies elsewhere. I've done all kinds of high powered driving and mine hasn't broken. If we rule out driver error then it probably is an issue with the alignment of the diff or associated parts.

 

Your diff bolt should not be breaking with the power levels that we've talked about.

If you really think it'll fix your problem, go to your local fastener shop and ask for a 12.9 grade bolt the correct size and length as arronm already said multiple times
