was when us ya southern folk needed to drive 800kms just to race... then try not to break chit so we could drive home.

I raced there once

 

once was enough 

 

its an ok place for getting heaps of runs in if your just testing and trying things/tune etc, but racing for a time its crap.

 

and you never forget the return road hahah

Its someone’s house they continue to bituminise parts of as they get the funds because they have a dream of a race track. It’s like a dinner plate size tiny and 4 hours from Adelaide In the desert which is hot AF LEL

 

not bad for practice for some... but fark driving there for it to be 49 degrees and dusty. Also don’t have a drift car anymore

they do hold a few events, the timing boards never work. return road is more a off road adventure. 

 

but some guys like it because its very relaxed and can race almost anything with hardly any pit check. and wont get booted for going to fast without cage etc. 

 

but I like calder even though that place is old as fek too.
