The guy that we bought mine off. Mtq Adelaide. The reason why they were so cheap is that a customer that was using them in off road cars or something was going to buy xxx amount put in a order but only ever purchased one or two so they had 15 spare. that's what I got told.

Probably all bullsh*t but mine only cost I think $1375. :D

I just picked one up from a company In Melbourne for $1595 which is a sh*teload cheaper Than here in NZ and although they do pop up cheaper at times this is their std price.

Yeah, that's true.

I was always sceptical of Jim's proclaimed excellent results just by cramming a gtx core inside a machined stock .5 housing. (referring to '82 spec, not '76, originally)
