422rwkw, on street Tyres I ran 11.2 @ 133, on MT ET's I ran 10.9 @ 134. I'm not doubting anyone rab, I'm just saying MPH is very low for 428. In my experience Tyres don't make that much of a difference, traction will net you a better ET but your MPH should be true to your power.

Do we need new MT's soon George?

Rednose I'm not sure if you've taken a good look at Gordons graph youll see it truly is making awesome numbers but unfortunately the extra killerwasps come so late I dont think it would be safe to utilize them especially when you'd have next to no reaction time to switch gears past 6k without hitting the limiter.

I'm a novice when it comes to the dragstrip but don't most change gears at 52-5500rpm?

Stage 2 engine to utilize all that power up top me thinks @MurdoK :turboboink:

yeah im way too cautious of hitting the limiter.so I been changing around 5k but was shifting earlier then that on the 11.3. need more practice.

new e85 tune makes much more power at a utilizable rpm that oil pump gears should be safe for the time being.

what is the limiter on these motors? never really looked at the dash when its hard cut on the limiter

Limiter is really where your tuner has set it.

Not much use spinning a street car past 6200 - 6300 IMO.

Make sure you tuner gives you a soft rev cut so your oil pump gears at least get a chance if you the limited!

Looks like 'boink is right, at 5000rpm is making 370odd kws, changing gear at 5000 would net a 123mph pass or there a bouts... so great tune, great result

Car was repaired.

The problem with the car not running ended up being a carbon build up on the throttle body causing it to spas out and keep shutting the engine down. Couldnt believe it. A tiny amount of crap caused all this.lol. so I cleaned that and bang, car worked fine
