Ill check again this arvo. Yeh I don't think it's the filter, could be rear seal but I didn't touch it? And I have only really had it idle since changing it hey. I'm pretty sure these motors are meant to take 10w 50 or 15w 50. If you're confident its not residue from when you filled it up and it has only developed since you changed the oil, I would dump that new oil you put in and run some thicker stuff like they recommend.
