Got nothing to do to the race bike and is great shed weather so I wheeled the old GSXR1216 Turbo out and am going to see if I can sort the fuelling issues and return it to the road.

This bike is an absolute blast to ride but im thinking of going to a lower psi waste gate spring to make it less of an animal.

With stock wheel base, it'll rotate around the rear axle in any gear. With the 3" extensions in, it only does it in the first three.

Got some news on the Rucky Strike K6 1000 too later on today.

Yeah I'm pretty lucky.

All my toys have been put together over the years.

The latest news is that Im converting the K6 GSXR1000 to a drag bike and my young bloke will be racing it in Modified Bike next season.

So on the weekend we fitted swingarm extensions and a used slick from my bikea and a super low race seat. I already have the lock up clutch in it and lowering links in the rear.

The Rucky Strike livery will have to go so were thinking about what to do for paint once we get some race glass on it.

Casey Stoner, top 10 after second day test at Sepang, great to see him mixing  it up with Lorenzo and Marquez.

Maybe top 5 after day 3 (today)

Loris Baz crashed at 290, and walked away unharmed!

Stoner's still just a test rider though right?

I wonder what will happen if he stays around the top of the field.

Yes, he is still under test rider status, but he is on the GP15 Ducati.

Dovisioso is on the GP16 Ducati and is languishing around 15th spot.

The commentators did say that it was extremely likely Stoner will get a wild card ride, maybe 1st round at Qatar

That would be awesome in so many ways  ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺????????

Stoner finished day 3 at Sepang in 5th spot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fastest of the Ducati's and still on the GP15, totally awesome! !!!!!!!!!!!

He was still 1.4 seconds off Lorenzo'so pace, but nobody could catch the Yamaha.

I hope we see Stoner on a wild card ride real soon!!!!

1.4 seconds might as well be 1.4 years.

I just looked up the results and even Rossi is nearly a second behind on what I assume is the same rig, and Marquez is 1.3 seconds.

That makes me wonder about the relevance of those testing results for comparison purposes. There's no way the rest of that field would be a second or more off the pace of another rider in qualifying or a race.

0.14 I could maybe swallow, but not 1.4.

It is probably due to Loris Baz's high speed crash.

After that, michelin withdrew the soft compound rear tyres

But also, Lorenzo is not 2015 world champion for no reason.

I do agree though, 1 second gap is absolutely huge in the Moto GP world.

It was an 8 hour session on day 3 and Stoner was running in 4th for about 3/4 of the day until about the last 10 minutes.

And it seemed to be just like a race practice  in the last 15 minutes, everyone trying  to put in a fast lap.

Hats off to Lorenzo  ☺
