Grinding When Turning Right

Whenever I turn right at low speeds and brake the front left wheel makes a grinding noise and tries to lock up. I jacked the car up and there is no play in the bearings and the brake pads and rotors are fairly new.

I have heard that bearings can be bad even with no play and turning right loads up the left wheel, don't know what else might be causing this

Take the wheel off and do a visual on the steering components, maybe see if something is rubbing, but I'd be thinking bearings too.

Drive carefully!

mine has been doing this at speeds less than 10 klms on almost full lock, I thought it must be something rubbing. guess im doing something over the long weekend now.
