What about changing the two stock mufflers with straight through type? (A question not a suggestion).

Don't mean to hack this thread but didn't wanna start a new one. I have a similar question but mine is a 3.5" mild steel turbo back xforce system and I'm looking to make it louder as it's just too quiet. (Was louder before with stock exhaust + centre muffler removed and high flow cat). Should I remove the rear muffler and put a straight pipe or throw in a resonator? Any ideas??

Cheers

Will do mate. I drove around the block last week with the rear muffler removed (un-bolted it from the middle muffler).

Had a wicked deepness but no real note

Ah k.. I reckon a hotdog resonator in place of the big barrel style muffler would sound 10x better. But let us know how you go with the straight pipe.
