nice write up ,but I got a alloy tray .but thanks for the info for people that will need them one day .it is great that you care about sharing your info on this forum .that's what it is all about .ps I would never get them welded up and then painted ,that would cost a small fortune .and may warp the panels ?

I was just thinking this today washing my ute prepping for the hardlid,

One tip I can give for painting the buttons. I got block timber. Drilled enough holes and used tooth picks to place each button on standing up , held nicely to paint :)
