I had mine set when the car was being tuned but you don't need a retune. Not cheap at around $500 plus fitting/adjusting but if you can afford it worth it for the peace of mind insurance. Well worth the money for the piece of mind. Basically just like the old overboost valves on the rb30s accept this ones adjustable. Best place is just before the inlet plenum as said above.
