Hey Guys,

Haven't updated on here in a while, but had lots going on.

My 300 post:

My 400 post:

After driving around with a shot tailshaft, slipping ZF and 400 odd daily KW's on the stock motor I bit the bullet and decided it was time to make it stronger.

I had the motor built with some Howard's rods and Mahle pistons by Clinton at ProFile Autosports. Not much of the budget went to the motor as most was already done.

And also upgraded from the Process West Stage 2 Version 1 to the Stage 3. Thanks for all your work Kev.

Next was to get a Turbo400 off ProTrans and a converter from TCE. Clinton also installed an external oil cooler and trans cooler. Both are great bits of gear and I'll get some photos up also. They sit behind the fog lights and with both lamps removed, a noticable difference in engine temps was immediately noticed.

Then we sent the car off to 6boost to have the rear end assembled. Out of the states we got Strange 35 spline billet axles and Strange Ultra Case and Wavetrac 9 inch diff.

Connecting the two is a custom made tails haft by Hardy Spicer. Sorry I dont have any pics on me of this set up on me but I'll get some.

After Kyle and the boys at 6boost finished building the rear, it was time to throw a tune in and bring it back from Toowoomba. Jamie from Forced Performance and Tuning was kind enough to lend us his dyno for the day.

E85 @ 30psi saw it make 602rwkw's. Will put the dyno sheet up tomorrow. We hadnt realised until that day that the Eboost Street was only a 30psi max. We've since put the 40psi version in.

So all was going well running in the new motor until the turbo gasket split and went into the turbine. Unfortunately the GTX42 that had been on the car since making 471rwkw's on the stock motor was shagged.

Problems can become good problems as the decision was made to retain the current 1.02 rear housing and upgrade to a GTX45 cartridge.

Car is currently at Exhaust Innovations in Capalaba having the dump pipe modified to fit the 45. Thank you to Kyle at 6boost for hooking me up with a new manifold to fit the 45. I believe by this time next week we may have done the new tune for the 45. With only running 2x 044's, my goal of being the first FG F6 auto to crack the magic 1000 number on E85 may not be achievable, just yet.

Some other things I wanted to share is with the shortened billet axles, im now currently running a 18x12 Rota rim on the rear with 315/30/18 Pirelli P-Zeros thanks to Max and Ali at Tempe Tyres.

Also went through a painful task of having custom Japanese Ganador mirrors made. They are wrapped in 3M Carbon. Look good but cost far too much and could have been a lot better.

The interior still has a bit more to be added. Heap of carbon from Carbonart in WA, some race seats...... yadda yadda. Will put the photos up when complete. Got a pic of the B&M shifter with transbrake actuator. We also used the cup holder position for the Eboost Street and isolator switch. Have also used a manual leather gear shift boot to make it look alot neater.

Sorry about all the crappy photos, im a Blackberry man!!

Got one slight issue with the box which will mean it has to come out and be sent back to Sydney. Once that last hurdle is over we will have a few runs in the car. Im now hoping Winter 2013 is when we will take a more serious approach to racing and see if the car will surprise a few people.

Should have some more videos and photo updates over the next few weeks. Its good to be back :)

Lol breaks traction every gear. No surprise haha. You probably still smash other cars while smoking past them hahaha

Bought the ECU cover from PWRS and got it etched by a place at Murrarie. Still got all the details if you want me to pass them design to you. Clint loved it when I dropped it off to him.
