What Made You Feel Good Today

Recommended Posts

Found a couple of old, rusted, nasty cast iron pieces.

Spent the arvo with the wire brush and the grinder then the night seasoning them once they were cleaned.

Am honestly quite impressed and happy with the result.

No before pics, but they were pretty rank.

NBN has gone live in your area. Your preorder is about to be placed and we will confirm your activation date shortly.

Yay :D

Curiously enough though, I didn't really notice much difference dropping from 100/40 to 50/20. Still seems fast enough to stream 4K and downloads still go plenty quick enough.

Was from Aussie BB.

I told them what I wanted a couple of weeks ago and they sent me a quote - finalised the application Weds.

I reckon I must be one of the 1st in the area to get it - NBN wasn't live yesterday when I was speaking to the girl.

Got this about a half hour after the sms above:

Welcome aboard as a new Aussie Broadband customer!

Below are the details for your NBNCo activation or appointment. If we haven't already, we'll also send you these in a text message.

Your appointment date for the install of your nbnTM service is Friday 25th of January between 8am and 12pm. Please note an adult will need to be at the premises, and the NBNCo technician may also need to access any communications room and/or main distribution frame if your premises has one.

Was going to put a similar comment when I pasted it, but thought no one here would be juvenile enough to appreciate it.

Should have known better ;)
