it is one of the easier things to make, isnt it? hence why every pub in Australia specialises in making one, don't they? :stirthepot:

Yeah man it's pretty easy. It's a little time consuming though.

 

We actually discussed what it would have been like going to the pub for dinner. 

 

We concluded that it's better to stay home and spend about $20 to serve 6 of us than to pay over $100 to chase the bloody kids around all night.

Got the Ute back a few weeks ago from CPV but been away for work so havnt had time to enjoy it yet. Made 390kw on e85. Had a few problems and didn't quite make the power we were hoping for. He suspected the few year old atomic springs had seen better days and possibly the twin 2.5" exhaust holding it back a smidge. Just to much noise when trying to push it further. We decided against chasing the few possible issues for little kw gain and just leave it there where it was happy.
I'm more than happy with the power. Comes on very strong and a night and day difference between the old 98 tune

Older Xforce cats are notorious for semi collapsing so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a combo of that and soft springs, the twin 2.5* is fine unless a muffler is on the collapse also, which isn’t unheard of on Xforce either

^Is there any advantage to getting a 4" exhaust over a twin 2.5 if you're not gonna push it to the max?
Like say you're going for 400rwkw will you get it a little easier with the 4" or no difference until you're getting to the upper limit of the twin 2.5?
I hate drone but also wouldn't wanna waste powers

Down low bigger exhausts actually have counterproductive power generation properties and the full effect of a 4* system is only seen above the 1000 HP mark over say a 3.5*
