Get on the phone all morning organising for my colleague in Vic to manage all my chit for the week so I can actually have my phone off and not have to respond to emails.

Spent about thirty hours over the past three days getting everything set up.

All good!!!!

Not two hours later:

Hi this is Airport and SAPN.... we forgot you were here as your new construction .... but FYI in just over a week you will have no power on site whatsoever as we have yearly maintenance which shuts down the whole area... and you should probably organise a generator or some form of power.

Me: j@ how big a generator will I neeed for this size site... j@: 35kva on a crane truck... me FHHHUUUUKKKK MY LIFE!!!!!!

Ordered 2 power supplys for my server that I picked up from Mrs BCB's work a few months ago
Arrived yesterday from the US
At a guess they would weigh 1kg each
Opened the box, packaging consisted of 2 brown paper bags!
WTF
Are you kidding me?
Locking handle was broken on one basically rendering it useless (if I didn't have a spare)
WTF do people think when they package an item that they know has to travel half way around the world

Anyways, I swapped out the handle from one of the original PSU's that was cactus and plugged them both into the server and she fired up no worries (breathing a sigh of relief)

That sh*t mate.

When I sent a sump and exhaust manifold to Florida, I screwed them each to a piece of mdf and then used foam locking tiles with duct tape to protect and seal them up.

At least your stuff works though.

Fark
Mal woods clutch comes pre drilled for his spec dowels.

The don't quite match the atomic dowels but can be machined or drilled with the atomic jig.

Already have dowel pins in crank from previous clutch at atomic spec. They're interference fit so ain't coming out.

Looks like I'm waiting til Tuesday to swing by the wreckers and "borrow" a taxi motor to use with the atomic jig and sort the new flywheel.

Fun stuff.

Anyone got a motor sitting around I can borrow tomorrow?
