This may be a controversial comment, but I'm going to say it anyway. As much as the new commo isn't really a "commo", straight line performance aside it does seem to give you a lot of features for the money.

probably because manufacturing for it went to roughly a third of the price, while the sticker price remained roughly the same (or more). I wouldn't want to be testing it's longevity or reliability...

Could say that about the Australian made vehicles with respects to longevity though, to be fair. Think they're also offering like 7 or 8 year warranties with them too. 2L turbo RS sedan with a lift back and decent features for around $30k makes for a pretty tempting commuter.

Had a "Expensive Daewoo Calibra" way back when
GM German car
Had a bearing failure on the cam belt
Long story short
Pistons met the valves X 24
Cost me $2300 for 24 new valve's
What a fu@ken nightmare

Ouch @bloodycrashboy

Was looking this morning and think perhaps an auto VF2 Calais with 6cyl wouldn't be horrible for daily commuting...

Fml my bloody roof is leaking somewhere and to make it even better it's leaking between the frigging cornice and the wall and running down the wall so if I don't fix it asap it'll wreck the bloody ceiling.

Yeah it's a pita.

The picture that I'll post is actually my chimney wall so the water is running down plaster. I've put a towel on the mantle for now to catch the drips. The ceiling and cornice is gyprock though.

There is a spot near the chimney on the roof that the tv cable runs out of and I disturbed it the other day running camera wiring.

I'll silicone the ever living fark out of it on the outside and it should be ok. It's right on the edge of the house so if I have to get in the roof I'll be literally crawling on insulation to get to it.
