Tell them your vehicle loves the ethanol and will have withdrawal symptoms if it's taken away.

Gotta get more people to switch to it, what's so bad about having to fill jerry cans if you live far away and short trips between the servo, tyre shop and drag strip?

Had Caltex do the same to the local one a few years ago.
Was a line of cms and autotech cars there every Friday arvo.

They still changed it to e10.

How's June treating you so far?

Any brighter than the end of May?

no better. still job hunting. been applying for a few jobs with no replies. typical.

Hardghatmedia had a dream job advertised since mid May and I applied for it.

IT, Electrical maintenance, Digital Photography and Drone flying all in one job.

Just what I am in to lately and guess what. not a single email or confirmation.

Life does deal you lemons sometimes but you gotta make coolaid instead

EFlex isn't anything we want for our cars though is it?

Don't we want pure 98 and pure E85?

Isn't EFlex just a poor mans PULP (that can go wrong)?

it's between 70 and 85% ethanol percentage blend with ULP... so I don't think it's quite comparable to PULP; it's way better. The only problem is the percentage changes with the season so you have to have a semi-conservative tune as compared to the consistency of E85 from United.

Ah - was thinking of E10?? - the thing where a car is flex fuel compatible?

Or is it the 98 with ethanol%?

Too many options, too many ways to put the wrong one in the tank :S

The old P100 fuel from United was the 10% ethanol and 90% PULP

The newer 98 from United may or may not have 5% ethanol in it now, but didn't when P100 existed.

E10 is just cheap arse ULP with 10% ethanol that almost any modern car can run no worries and sells reasonably well as it's slightly cheaper than ULP. Most people don't realise it actually gets worse fuel economy which ruins the cheaper status of it in the first place.

Flex Fuel cars can run any percentage blend of ethanol and P/ULP without you needing to flash a tune for the blend percentage.

Yeah, may have been the P100 I was thinking of - you thought you were filling up with 98 if you didn't read the fine print at the bowser

The tune you had told you otherwise :S

I think my fuel cap says E10 compatible
