Update: car sits at cms as I speak!

Ba motor is out and a fg motor with 60,000 klms is ready to go in with upgraded valve springs and spool oil pump gears.

With this and the th400 I'm aiming for 410rwkw on E85

I'm confident all will be good in joes hands :) seriously can't wait to get it back and unleash a skid :) no transbrakecausestockdiff. Scored 1000hp half shafts for $200 so I'm halfway there just gotta decide on a good diff. Will keep everyone updated on progress.

final update,

car had a fg motor fitted along with a protrans th400 and 3000rpm stally,

final 98 tune was a baby 345rwkw on just gate pressure at 15psi,

E85 tune was 395rwkw at 17psi

was going to cram some more boost in the e85 tune but it was a really hot day over 35 degrees and intake temps climbing to 44 degrees more boost would have been pointless.

I took it to wsid and got a pb of 11.1 at 124mph on a 38 degree day, heat killed the car it lost 1.5 psi and I should have stalled it up more before leaving the line.

always next time to cack that 10........... cooler day better tyres and I think I will be there no probs.

car drives awesome now, 1-2-3 powerskids no brakes, driving in 3rd gear at 60klmh and it smokes the wheels with ease, this power level will do me untill next round of mods are on the cards.

big thanks to joe and the boys at cms, top notch work!

New motor is now in.

Anyone who knows a motor would understand what has been done to this one,

In short/ it has fire rings now that take the combustion pressure and not the head gasket. This way the motor can handle more boost then usually!

Huge shout out to Cms and Brett for more the 30 hours from the 22-24th finishing it off so I was done in time for the NATS.

Now I have 5 days to run it in, 2000klms will do me :)

Along with some new plates and smaller cams.

Bad time constraints ment we were unable to order in custom pistons.

Block & head was decked and calculated at only 9.0:1

So far have done 515klms on the motor in ine day lol

Goes back Tuesday for re tune
