My dad (80yo) is a coffee snob to the point of it being painful lol

Buys and roasts his own beans, has a machine that cost a couple of K (Expobar) and has to take it in for servicing as much as I service my car. Heavy farker - I have to lift it into the car for him, so know how often it gets worked on.

I've got a Kitchenaid Nespresso? pod machine (decent enough coffee), but usually justgrab a mug, some Nescafe Gold and drink it.

That said - I am picky about my coffee - need to make it myself at home and can't stand a bad one when out.

That's next level! I always wanted a manual machine...but also recognise that I'm lazy, so figured the shine would wear off after a while. Great thing about the Oracle is that I get the goodness of a manual coffee, but with it being consistently good and without as much of the effort or mess. So I use it literally everyday...except for when I'm staying at the GF's place and have to buy coffee 😫

Well, I get cafe quality coffee at home every. And I mean DECENT cafe quality, not average cafe quality. So for me, it works out cheaper than buying coffees out and means I can wake up to fresh delicious coffee every morning. Can even set it to turn on at the same time every morning to heat up, so I can walk out of my bedroom and start making coffee straight away...but I can't do that yet, coz still staying at GF's place sometimes...

no coffee snob here, I barely drink it. Mainly the misses as she is a qualified barista, she is always making some weird type of coffee😕

I'm happy with a $250 machine
I would consider myself a coffee snob for shure
I have a good pod machine at home
2 coffee's in the morning Monday to Friday
3 on a Saturday & Sunday
If someone offers me an instant, I will always opt for a cup of tea
Instant coffee sucks dead dogs dicks

When out I have a double espresso in a ceramic cup with a jug of hot milk on the side
That way I can regulate the flavour

Those who drink $5 coffee's in a cardboard takeaway cup need therapy
The cardboard destroys the flavour
