I cleaned my car today, and took off those stupid plastic surrounds off my number plate the dealer had put on...much better now.

just finished polishing the ute

was a scared that the ultimate compound may scratch the paint but it did not (had lots of water marks ) that's why I used it to get rid of them ,got most of them out . the buff is a $50 special from supercheap ,bought it 10 years back and it still goes strong

^did you manage to get all the swirls out with ultimate compound? I've tried it, made it real shiny but still had swirls/spiderwebs visible under bright light.

I have had a close look and can not see none ,just some small scratches that are to deep to take out with a buff . the ute had no swirl marks to start with ,the paint job is only 2 years old .but I never polished it before ,this was the first time in 2 years .the ute only gets used on the weekends .owned it for 3 years and have only traveled 20,000 klm in it
