started the engine for the first time in my ute (7.45 pm saturday ) now there is a turbo 6 were there used to be a 3v v8 .sounds sweet .had 2 codes come up ,code p0500 vehicle speed A (vss ) and u 1900 . the engine conversion is from a sedan and I fitted it to a ute (ute only xt model ba (no traction control but abs brakes ) also no interior fan working ? air con still has to be re gassed .

Mick, I should give you my car for the weekend to sort out the rattles haha!

Is that Response stuff any good inside the doors to fix door trim squeeks and rattles?

sh*t yeah! That's the first time I've used the 5mm foam backed, which was prefect for that application.

Just about everywhere else I've used the 1.5mm white butyl mat.

Great stuff, even better when on special.

I was just looking at the Jaycar site and never knew they have 3 different products. So you use the Butyl and put the foam on top?

Top of my door trims creak whan I lean my arm on them. Might have to pull them off to see if I can stuff some of thus stuff under there to stop them flexing. Also a few other rattles coming from around the speaker grilles.
