hey guys, I just bought a new pipe kit and got a quote to fit from my tuner of $300. I didnt really know what to expect with fitting costs but I was a little taken back by it given I only paid $345 for the kit. He also said that I can have a 2nd hand F6 cooler for $200 ($500 total fit) if I wanted as well. Seem about right to anyone that has had them installed?

Cheers

You will have to take the front bar off and at least loosen the bolts for both headlights to remove the exsisting piping. Looking at some tuners labour rates I can see this being in the ballpark.

I did mine in the garage over alot of beers and a few hours.

Take the cooler if you don't plan on getting a PWR one or what ever, $200 seems ok for an FG F6 cooler.

cheers guys, yeah I must admit the idea of keeping my cash and having a crack at it myself is appealing at the moment. he basically said 3hrs $300. ive never attempted a job like this before so the idea of removing the front bar seems a bit daunting. from then yeah it seems pretty straight forward.

Get on the Ballistic cat group buy if you just plan on maxing the little turbo.

The price is fair mate :spoton:

Its not a difficult job, but whats 3hrs of your time worth on a weekend?

But also its satisfying doing it yourself.
