Hey Guys,

My FG XR6T has got the 18"s on it, and I want to head up to the snow this year so am thinking my best bet is probably to buy some old steel wheels to put on it for a few months so that I don't scratch up my wheels with chains. Probably a stupid question but will AU wheels fit on there? Thinking 15/16s, will a breakers or similar be the easiest place to fine them?

Just get territory 17" steel wheels, they can be had for $300 to $400 with tyres.

:stupid:

AU's will fit but have feeling front brakes might foul.

Yeah it did suddenly occur to me that the AU rims I'd spotted were 15" and would probably have a little trouble fitting around the brakes :) Hopefully 17" territory rims will provide enough clearance to get chains on without fouling on anything. Chances are I won't ever need to put them on, but I don't want to find out the hard way and scuff my wheels up!

Well, here she is sporting some sexy new shoes... Going to get hold of some of the Konig 7mm snow chains and then I should be gold :) Oh, and need to get some wheel nuts that don't stick out quite so far...

As already said mate ya can't get AYOOO 15's on the front of a B or F series because of the size calipers

And I even run E series 15"s on the back of mine.

*EDIT*

LOL you already bought some rims... don't worry about me :)
