Can't believe you all wouldn't go if it was at Heathcote.

Don't give a rats either way myself, but the advantages to Heathcote are garages, under cover parking, track side parking and viewing, better photo opportunities etc.

Do you all really want to be at Calder behind a big fence all that way up in the seating area instead of right beside the track?

And I think it's a good idea that all cars and the real powerful cars gotta run street tires cos as the title says king off the street so then if you loose traction and get Owned by a less powerful car well that's bad luck that's what happens on the street and it gives people with less power more of a chance cos we all no someone who has spent 50 grand on a engine and running gear has slicks of course he is gonna win it will be more fun this way lol that's my 2 cents

and the disadvantages to heathcote

hit a roo or 30 on the way home

far, $$$ to tow truck home when you break your diff

sh*t track sh*t return road, timing system as accurate as a drunk teenager

slower track than calder

ive done well over a hundred + runs at heathcote, never will I return to that POS track again.

Timing = who needs it. Cross the line first not try to break records

Broken parts = don't push your car so hard, no one worries about it on the street

Hit a roo = insurance plus it's a risk you take when going anywhere

Slower track = pretty slow at prinny when most back off at 120

Daz mate thank you finally someone understands my point.

Adam has listed very good points about heathcote and remember we can camp there if you make it fri-sat overnighter. Nothing like racing, sinking tins around a fire then racing again the next day.

F*** heathcote and it's owner worse than Bobby Jane.

You could do a strictly www.ls1.com.au VS www.fordxr6turbo.com day! I wouldn't even have to stir them over them to get them on side! Expensive Daewoo in one lane and Ford in the other!

If the tracks do sh*t why have you done over 100 runs?

The guys that hate heathcote and want to go to calder appear to be more the serious racing type.

If you want a time, be bored as fark, sit around forever for a run, sit on plastic chairs behind a big fence then just go to calder any other day.

If you want a more relaxed event where everyone just has a good time, is able to walk around in the pits and even race with a passenger for sh*ts and gigs go to heathcote.

I have been to an AFF event at heathcote before and it is a lot better than anything I have been to at calder.

Et streets should be allowed for those who want.

Street tyres will be sh*t. Alright for the turbos that don't get going till 100m but for anyone else, v8, turbo/v8 manuals, Utes, front wheel drive turbos. Every one uses these on the street, can see the problem.

What classes are you going to have and rules

DYO

Grudge match - any cars that want to tee off

Full exhaust? No nos?
